EZ LYNK Quickstart Guide for Powersports Vehicles

Hey, guys. Thank you for purchasing the Auto Agent 3. I'm going to give you a quick overview on some of the changes we've made and also how to install it.

Going back to the auto agent two. You can see some of the main differences are going to be the size. It comes with a built in OBD two connection, so there isn't the need for additional cables. You can connect it directly to your vehicle's OBD two port. We still have a micro SD card slot which is typically used for support functions. We also have a Usb-C port right on the side.

The setup process is super quick and super easy. You're going to take your mobile device, whether that be an iPhone or an Android tablet or smartphone, you're going to go to the app store. You're going to search for the auto agent app and download that app. It's a free app.

Once that's downloaded, you go into the app, you're going to be prompted to either log in or create an account. For those of you that already had an EZ LYNK account, you're simply going to log in. For those of you that need to create an account, you're going to create a log in. It's going to prompt you to put in your email and then create a password. Super simple.

Once we've set up our account and logged in, we're going to take the Auto Agent three. We're going to locate our vehicle's diagnostic connection. The majority are going to be OBD two connections, and not require additional cables. So we plug that in. After we plug that in, we turn the vehicle on. The auto agent uses a Wi-Fi connection to connect with your mobile device. It's not a mobile hotspot. It's simply a connection between the auto agent and your mobile device. We're going to go into our mobile devices settings. We're going to find Wi-Fi. The Wi-Fi is going to say EZ LYNK, underscore, and then your auto agent serial number. Once you've connected to Wi-Fi, you'll be prompted that there is an Internet available with this Wi-Fi connection. Do you want to always connect or ask every time. If you say that you're going to always connect, you'll have an auto connection to your auto agent every time you plug it in and turn it on. If you just want to choose every time you have that option.

A quick overview on the cables you need to connect to your power sports application. Here we have the Polaris Connectors, BRP Connectors, Arctic cat connectors, new for this year, Arctic Cat. We didn't have Arctic Cat before. And then also we have power injectors, snowmobile specific applications just for flashing. So Arctic cat here we have our skidoo and lynx power injection. We have Polaris 850-650, 800-600 power injectors. Each of those is going to come with our battery adapter with pigtails using a standard AC connection that's only going to be used when you flash the snowmobile and you can use any 12 volt battery to power that.

The other new addition for this year is our weather resistant case that's going to slide over the auto agent. Each of the cables comes with a silicone ring around the end. So as it slides over the auto agent three, pop that on. It creates a weather resistant seal in case you want to use this in conditions where the auto agent three may get wet. Check the links below for power sports specific installations.
